Download the tar file from sourceforge above. Then follow the steps below

* Gain root privs
$ su -

* Move getwifi to /usr/sbin
$ mv getwifi /usr/sbin/

* Make it executable
$ chmod +x /usr/sbin/getwifi

* Move config to /etc/getwifi.conf
$ mv config /etc/getwifi.conf

* Move manpageconfig to /usr/share/man/man1/
$ mv getwifi.1 /usr/share/man/man1/

* and edit configuration file to meet your needs.
